A Chris POV bit. With some plot, even!
ETA:
wrenlet has finally posted the pieces she's written in this same universe. To read a hot fic about Jared and Jensen, go HERE.
Previous parts: One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten, Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen, Fourteen
Chris observed Jensen and Julian pretty closely. He had since he met them, really--they were hot, and Jensen was a good guy, had been his lab partner in advanced biology last year. They had always been interesting, but this year they were even more interesting. Jensen had an obvious crush on the freshman kid, and everyone could tell except for the kid himself. Even Julian could tell, though he was pretending to be oblivious. But Julian was pretty clearly trying to stake a claim and scare the freshman off at the same time, and as far as Chris could tell, he was pretty successful at terrorizing the new kid. The past year, when Chris had been a junior, Jensen and Julian had been much more slutty, exchanging blowjobs with Mike and Tom and Chris himself casually, messing around with other guys on bets for extra challenge. Mike and Julian particularly liked to pick out guys who looked as straight as they came and offer to blow them--Mike claimed that dicks tasted better when the receiver was all conflicted about it. Julian had always had his prissy little preferences--he was a cocktease, and if sex wasn't going exactly his way he was pretty likely to just stop, and he was totally willing to cut other guys off mid-fuck. Chris found the dance Julian played rather interesting, because when Julian started to protest, Jensen was ususally there ready to cut in, offer up his own ass or finish things off, and smooth the whole incident over without ruffling Julian's feelings further.
This year it was becoming more and more clear how much Julian managing Jensen really did, because now that they were no longer joined at the hip Julian was getting into a lot more trouble. Julian had already been called to the principal's office three times, which was a record for the first month of school, even for him.
Anyway, Julian and Jensen were less slutty this year. Jensen was too busy mooning over his new roommate, and Julian seemed pretty occupied with Jensen, clinging to him exclusively and anxious to have all of Jensen's attention on him. The idea of Jensen with anybody else was freaking Julian the fuck out. A freaked out Julian was not a fun Julian, really, so Chris was taking the idea of asking Julian to be his roommate pretty seriously. Jensen had begged him to consider it, because Jensen was freaked out by the fact that Julian and his roommate got into fist fights periodically, and also, Chris suspected, because Julian sneaking into Jensen's room was interfering with Jensen's little crush on his roommate. If it were Jensen, Chris wouldn't hesitate, because he knew Jensen was a good guy, and because duh, Jensen was hot, and Chris had always had something of crush on him himself. Julian was hot, at least, but he was moody and particular and beyond that Chris didn't even know him that well.
Chris was sitting at a back table in the library, leaning his chair back and throwing a pen up and down as he waited for the bell to ring and for study hall to finally be over. Julian walked by the library in the hallway--at least Chris was pretty sure it was Julian, because he was holding an ice pack to his face and had probably gotten into a fight again. "Hey, Ackles," Chris said, and Julian turned and came over to the table and leaned against it, taking the ice off his face for a second and then putting it back with a small wince. "What's up?" Chris asked.
"Nothing," Julian said, and his voice indicated that there was stuff going on, he just didn't want to talk about it yet.
"So my roommate transferred," Chris said.
"Yeah?" Julian said, and his voice was even but he stood up a little bit straighter.
"Yeah," Chris said. "Jensen said you've been looking to switch rooms."
"Yeah," Julian said again, still sounding wary. "My roommate's a total bastard."
"He keep messing up your face?" Chris said.
"Are you looking for a new roommate?" Julian asked, cutting to the chase.
"Could be. What's in it for me?" He was teasing, mostly. Rooming with Julian might be a pain in the ass, but he didn't really want to face Jensen and tell Jen that Julian had a new ice pack and Chris wasn't going to let him move in. But Julian seemed to be taking the question seriously, and he lowered the ice pack from his face again to consider Chris nervously. Chris wasn't sure whether the slightly apprehensive way Julian ran his tongue lightly over his lips was deliberate or thoughtless, but damn, even with a slightly desperate look in his eyes, a black eye and a split lip, he was hot. Or maybe it was because of the desperation and the latest bruises that he was particularly hot, but either way, Chris thought that the semester was suddenly more promising.
"I," Julian started, but Chris cut him off.
"You can move in tonight, if you want."
Julian raised an eyebrow. "Yeah?"
Chris nodded. "So I'll see you then?"
Julian turned his head away and put up the ice pack again as he nodded. "Yeah." And Chris watched Julian as he walked away down the hall, and he grinned to himself.

Well...
Posting every day was a special goal for me this October. I was thinking, though, that in November maybe my goal should be to *write* something every day, and try to post once a week or something (or more, my goals are just minimums). But I'm not committing to that yet--and I still have two days to think about it! :D
