I missed two days! I'm so bad. I had company visiting and I actually had to write this piece, not just dig it out of an old email convo and post it. I'm sure you all appreciate how hard my life is.
I want to continue this scene tomorrow, so bug me if I don't.
Previous parts: One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten, Eleven
Jensen had been sleeping with his brother since before he really understood that there was something wrong with that, and by that point, he'd already grasped that there were rules for most people, and that there were rules for him and Julian, and he'd never really had a problem with that.
Julian wasn't the only guy he'd been with--they'd slept around with other guys at school, with an older guy once when they'd snuck out to a club. But Julian was almost always there, and actually, Julian usually picked the guy. Jensen was starting to realize, though, that if he wanted to have a different kind of relationship, he was going to have to stop with other guys. If he had a boyfriend, his boyfriend was likely to be as accepting of Jensen still fucking his brother as Jensen's brother was likely to be of the idea of Jensen having a boyfriend.
Jen had no idea how to stop things with Julian--it wasn't like Julian *asked,* he just assumed, and he got pissy and pouted if he was denied. Jensen was worried about Julian anyway. Last weekend Julian's fight with his bastard roommate had gotten so bad that Julian had had to go to the doctor the next day. He'd gotten some sort of painkiller prescription for all the bruises and he was taking them liberally.
At two in the morning Jensen woke up because there was a weird noise outside his window. He sat up in bed a bit, and squinted at the window. He didn't see anything for a minute, and then he saw a hand, and then Julian's head, and then Julian was rapping on the window again, urgently.
Jen cracked it open. "What the hell are you doing?"
"Give me your hand," Julian said, and used it to help haul himself in over the ledge.
"You've been drinking," Jen said, shocked. The alcohol was heavy on Julian's breath, and once Julian was actually into the room, he was tipsy, lilting toward the frame of Jensen's bed. Jensen caught Julian as he was tipping, and Julian swore, grimacing. Jensen bit his lip--Julian probably had a whole new set up of bruises.

Date: 2006-10-23 04:56 am (UTC)Good! I'm so mad at myself for slacking this weekend--I need to keep on track.
I love when we get into Jensen's head. :)
Poor Jensen. What's a boy to do? :)
