mairead: It would be so weird to actualy be able to read stuff on her LJ.
Josselin: me too...like an arthurian legend. came and told beautiful stories and then disappeared until the doomsday of the qaf fandom
mairead: EXACTLY.
Josselin: i wonder how old she is -- i picture her as like the ancient benevolent spirit. kind of fairie-like, with flowing long white hair with ribbons in it.
mairead: If she wrote more fic, it would be like...DUDE.
Josselin: i hope her appearance does not signal the end of the world
mairead: I think she's in her mid- to late thirties. There's actually an interview with her on WLM.
Josselin: that's not nearly as cool, though.
mairead: This is true.
mairead: But maybe she's ageless. Like Legolas.
Josselin: yes. that's a good image
Josselin: i think i have all her fic memorized
mairead: I wonder if she's good with a bow and arrow?
Josselin: who cares about a bow? we know she's good with a pen. or...keyboard, maybe
mairead: ME TOO. Totally. Those fics defined my ideal characterization for both Brian and Justin.
Josselin: don't they for everybody? i have yet to meet a good qaf writer who does not have them memorized.

Ohmygod. I can't believe you actually talked to her. I LOVE her. I read "I'd Swim the Seas" practically every freaking DAY. Ohmygod, that is so cool. You are so lucky.
