My one crazy popslash fic beginning...

I'm starting to write a Numb3rs fic, so of course, instead of actually, you know, *writing down some words,* I've been reading all the fic snippets I've written over the past year or so. I've been devouring popslash like a hungry, devouring thing, but I never quite got into the groove of writing it, I think because the notion of unlimited canon was intimidating to me. I never quite felt like I knew enough to compete with other writers, and I talked myself out of it before I ever really began.

Well, except I did begin something. Here's one of my false-start thingies, a crazy almost-AU beginning that is just as whacked out as anyone who ever read my QaF fic would expect. I don't know how much sense it makes in its current incarnation, but I highly doubt it's ever going to get any longer, and it amuses me, at least.
