But I became fascinated with the idea of Chase's religious and spiritual life, and then with the idea of how he looks at House, and then I wanted to do the whole miracle-worker thing.
The religious aspect of this story and Chase's worship was what made this story work for me. If it had just been 'Chase equals healed' with no creepy Jesus!House undertone going on, then I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the story as much as I did. I was so interested in the spiritual concepts that I kinda decided to focus on that and the character interaction more than the spine thing. ;D Really, fanfiction is about 'fiction' as much as 'fan'.
