Grocery!Fic Contest Entries Posted
Nov. 1st, 2003 11:48 pm::takes a deep breath::
Okay. Now, I kind of got in over my head with the whole grocery contest thing, because when I came up with the idea a week ago, I never dreamed it would be quite so big and popular. Or that people would write grocery epics or make fancy grocery images. Or that Myrna would participate. Back then, Myrna was still just a distant goddess. Now I know better. I'm on to her. I know that she is a sick psycho who likes to torture Justin instead of doing her work.
Anyway, the contest got so big that there's no way I could have managed it on my own, so luckily I had
julad volunteer to help me, and she is graciously hosting all the contest entries on her site. I can't thank her enough for her help.
I feel like I should be saying some more about the rules or something, but I think we've all got the idea. There's a list of authors and a bunch of anonymous fics. Match them up. If you're on the list of authors but didn't write a fic, don't say anything that would ruin the guessing. Use the comments function to make your author guesses and compliment the writers. We'll announce the real authors a week from now.
Also, there are two of you (and you know who you are) who have emailed me to tell me that you've *written* groceryfic but haven't gotten it to me yet. You can still email it to me and I'll put it up on the site. It is not yet too late.
So, what you've all been waiting for:
The Queer As Folk Grocery Store Challenge Archive
ETA: Another fic has been added to the bottom of the list there.
